Xyron

A new alternative to spray adhesive

Xyron is an adhesive application and cold lamination technology. It provides a clean and efficient alternative to spray adhesives and hot lamination. It is gaining popularity with graphics, advertising and design studios.

Though spray adhesive still has its uses, it can be expensive and inefficient. Even if you are using a spray booth, it seems to settle everywhere, including on your computer. Moreover, some spray cans are not ozone-friendly.

Compare the old spray adhesive with the new adhesive application technology from Xyron.

There is a choice of two models - the Pro 1255 and the Pro 2500, illustrated here. Both apply adhesive edge to edge with no wastage and no fumes. The 1255 is an A4/A3 system while the 2500 handles sheets up to A1.

Xyron applicators take up little desk space and operate from a cartridge system. All lamination and encapsulation cartridges are recyclable.

Xyron applicators have a hand-turned handle -- they are not electrically driven. This gives close control to the user, so you can use just as much laminate as you need.

There are three choices of adhesive strength -- high tack, standard and re-positionable adhesive.
