Sue Mitchell

Sue Mitchell achieved the NDD in Graphic Design at the University of Southampton. She subsequently went on to teach in secondary schools while painting at every opportunity until, in 1998, she decided to become a full time artist.

The exhibition, Aspects of Mystery, is comprised of figurative and abstract works in a variety of media -- oil, gouache, etching and collage. The diversity of style is brought together by the air of mystery, whether it be unknown strangers, unseen interiors, the enigma of light in landscapes.

Sue has undertaken commissions for British Aerospace and numerous private individuals, and has exhibited in London, at the Manchester Academy and many NW galleries.
