Football Characters

The sculptor Paul Reilly usually works to commissions, producing original individual sports sculptures. On this occasion he has produced a body of work to celebrate the role of the Manchester United Football Club. His previous sports sculptures attracted wide attention and he had exgibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum, in London galleries, and at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh. The figures are made in terracotta then glazed with a durable aged bronze appearance glaze fired at a very high temperature.

Paul works part time teaching ceramics at the Fosse Centre in Leicester.
