Lou Moore

Lou Moore was born in Cheshire in 1963. Her early recollections are of wanting to be an artist. She was educated at Stockport Convent then at art colleges including the renowned Ringling Art College in Florida, USA

She paints mainly emotionally charged landscapes in mixed media on hand-made paper. She is a member of the Stuckish Society, the manifesto of which emphasises the striving for authenticity against conceptualism, hedonism and egoism in contemporary art.

She has lived in several countries and her paintings are in collections and galleries in the USA, Australia and Europe.
