John McCombs

John McCombs was born in Manchester and educated at Manchester High School of Art before studying at St Martin's College, London under Gore and Kossof. He is a member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Royal Society of British Artists. His paintings of the people and places around Delph in Saddleworth, where he has his studio and art gallery, are recognised internationally.
