Stefan Fiedorowicz

Vibrant colours, powerful expression and dynamic composition characterise Stefan's paintings. He is a self-taught artist of European descent from British Columbia, Canada. He has been painting almost full time for about six years, since leaving social work in the public service. He is a member of the Federatin of Canadian Artists with Active Status. His work is in oil and acrylic paint.
"I make paintings that are vibrant in colour, vigorous in structure and abstract in nature, " he comments. "Life is good and bad, but my work is about celebrating the good. I believe that the creative process involves imagination and getting in touch with the subconscious. Making art is a highly personal affair; a relationship between the canvas and the artist. During my university years I studied the history of art and soon discovered my passion for creating art when I began painting colourful oils on canvas."
