Dennis Esteves

Dennis Agabiti Esteves was born in 1976 at Santo Andre in the Sao Paulo metropolitian and industrial region of Brazil. In 1990, aged only 14 years, he held his first exhibition -- at the Sala Sigma do Instituto Metodista de Sao Bernardo do Campoi, the local University, where he sold his first art works, some pastel compositions. Since 1996 he has dedicated himself to his artistic career, with exhibitions throughout Brazil and in Europe, in France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. He now produces exuberant works, in oils on canvas, in a distinctive figurative Cubist style

Dennis says he is a compulsive painter: " Creating is concentrating all the forces of nature through the paintbrush." He presented his first exhibition at the age of 14 years, prior to expressing his artistic nature as a tap dancer instructor. Today he is an established fine art painter with international recognition. His works are easily accessible, with broad appeal. Bold characters are at the centre of his art, undertaking every day activities with an evident zest for life. They are depicted with good humour using a rich colour palette, impregnated with an ironic freshness, expressed through flowing movement.

Telefonica, Brazil, selected his dynamic art for replication on over 2 million of its public calling cards. Esteves divides his time between Paris and Sao Paulo.
